OtakuShare Terms of Service

These Terms apply to all relationships between you and the Service regarding use of OtakuShare.

OtakuShare is a non-commercial hobby project for building, saving, and sharing grid-style lists of anime, manga, and light novels.

The Service is inspired by @ptrst102’s “俺のオタクソング9選”, adapting a similar “curate and share what you love” experience for anime, manga, and light novels.

Lists you create (“snapshots”) are stored in the Service’s database.

Anyone who knows the share link issued after saving can view that list. You agree that optional fields you enter—such as display name, genre label, and heading text—may be treated as public information.

Do not enter information you do not want to be visible to others.

The Service uses the AniList API and RanobeDB to fetch work metadata.

Titles, cover art, and other metadata remain the property of their respective rights holders or data providers. OtakuShare does not claim ownership of that content.

You must not:

1. Violate applicable laws or public order and morals. 2. Damage servers or networks, or impose unreasonable load. 3. Interfere with operation of the Service. 4. Engage in any other conduct the Service deems inappropriate.

The Service is provided “as is.” We do not warrant accuracy, usefulness, or uninterrupted availability.

Except in cases of our intentional misconduct or gross negligence, we are not liable for unavailability or changes caused by third-party APIs.

Except in cases of our intentional misconduct or gross negligence, we are not liable for damages to you or third parties arising from use of the Service.

We may change these Terms when necessary. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We will try to notify you of material changes on the Service.
